He has already signed a new contract with the Stamford-based federation, taking on the role of ambassador for the next five years. Some time ago, it was announced that Cena will appear on the episode of Monday Night Raw scheduled immediately after WrestleMania 42 this spring.
His departure from professional wrestling has sparked a wave of reactions from every corner of the world. During the latest episode of GQ’s YouTube series ‘Actually Us’, Irish star Becky Lynch confessed to crying during Cena’s final match: “I may have cried like a little baby. May have, no evidence whatsoever, but he’s given a lot to the business. He’s given a lot to us.”
