Emma Raducanu told what she needs to change to get her 2026 season back on track

Emma Raducanu hasn’t got off to the start she would have hoped for in the 2026 WTA season.

The Brit, currently ranked 23rd in the world, has recorded seven wins and seven losses so far this year and has picked up a number of early exits at events.

In her last three tournaments, Raducanu has managed just one win, falling at the first hurdle in both Doha and Dubai before bowing out in her second match at Indian Wells.

Raducanu recently withdrew from the Miami Open because of illness, having struggled with a virus through February.

After she pulled out, Sky Sports presenter Gigi Salmon highlighted again how important it is for Raducanu to find some stability.

Despite a slow start to the year, there have been some encouraging signs for the 23-year-old.

Following an early exit at the Australian Open, Raducanu reached the final of the Transylvania Open, offering a glimpse of what she’s capable of when things come together.

She made her way through the draw, dropping just one set along the way before running into Sorana Cirstea in the final.

The Romanian veteran dominated that match in front of her home crowd, taking a convincing 6-0 6-2 win.
