Kim Kardashian shared the precious names that her children North West, 12, Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and Psalm West, 6, gave to the four Pomeranian puppies they got for Christmas.
The SKIMS founder proved her children have inherited her creativity with names, explaining that North West, 12, Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and Psalm West, 6—who she shares with ex Kanye West—each picked out a name for the Pomeranian puppy they received as a Christmas present.
“Uzi, Teddy, Cookie and Cinnamon Roll,” Kim shared on her Instagram Story Jan. 23. “I bet you guys can guess which dog is which child’s by their names.”

The Kardashians star first introduced the new furry friends on social media Dec. 25, writing, “Each kid got a puppy,” alongside sweet videos of the dogs playing with toys.
And they’ve already developed a precious bond, as Kim gave a glimpse of Chicago and Psalm cuddling and running around with their pups in a Jan. 4 video.
“Since we’re faster than the doggies,” Psalm told her in the clip, “we have to race like this, Mommy.”
As for Kim, she’s been candid about the challenges she’s faced picking out names before—not for her pets, but, more importantly, for her children.
“North took me, like, a week to name her,” Kim shared in a fan Q&A in 2020. “Not a week, but, like, four or five days. I actually got it from Jay Leno, who made that as a joke. And I was like, ‘No way, I would never name my daughter that.’ Like, I said that on his show. Everyone was coming up to me like, ‘It’s such a cool name. You should really think about it.'”
She credited Pharrell Williams with telling her “all these meanings” behind North, which helped convince her. After all, she added, “They really become the name that you name them
