Jem Hepworth, Tatiana Calderon, Chloe Chambers and Ian Porter will lead RAFA Racing Team’s two-car effort in the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship, beginning with next week’s season opener at Sebring International Raceway.
Chambers will pair with Porter in one RAFA Racing Team Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, while Hepworth teams with Calderon in the second entry as the organization continues its presence in one of North America’s most competitive single-make GT championships.
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo effort forms part of RAFA Racing Team’s expanding 2026 program, which also includes entries in two other IMSA-sanctioned championships: IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, among other series.
Both driver combinations completed a two-day test at Sebring ahead of the race weekend, allowing the four drivers to gain valuable experience with the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 on one of the most demanding circuits on the calendar.
winning seasons in the international F1 Academy championship.
The American driver has built experience across both single-seater and sports car competition and will use the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season as a key step in her continued development in GT racing.
Her first experience with the Lamborghini came during the Sebring test, which she described as an important opportunity to adapt to the car’s unique characteristics.
“It was my first time driving that car,” Chambers said. “I have a decent amount of experience in sports cars, but primarily my experience is in open-wheel cars, so it’s definitely an adjustment.
“I think the Super Trofeo is one of the more raw race cars that you can drive.”
The two-day test gave Chambers time to familiarize herself with the car, the team, and her new teammate Porter ahead of the opening race.
“It was nice to get those couple of days of testing before the race weekend so you can get used to the team, get used to the teammates, and get used to the car,” she said. “Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’m looking forward to being back in Sebring next week with Ian.”
Chambers said starting the season at Sebring presents a significant challenge, but one that should ultimately help accelerate the learning process.
“It’s a tough track to start at, but hopefully once you learn it and understand the car here, the rest of the season will come a bit easier. I’m really looking forward to this opportunity with the RAFA Racing Team and really thankful for the support of my long-time partner Monoflo International for their continued support making this new adventure happen.”
Porter steps up from VP Racing SportsCar Challenge
Porter joins the Lamborghini program after winning the Bronze championship in IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge last season, driving the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2.
The step into Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America represents another major milestone in his rapidly developing racing career, as he transitions into one of the most competitive GT championships in the region.
Despite the challenge of facing a large field of experienced professional drivers, Porter said he is eager to embrace the opportunity.
“I’m excited to get in the Lamborghini,” Porter said. “It’s going to be a massive test because the competition in this championship is extremely strong.”
For Porter, the opportunity to continue progressing through different forms of GT machinery has been one of the most rewarding parts of his career so far.
“Being able to go from Porsche to Toyota and now Lamborghini has been incredible,” he said. “A lot of drivers don’t get that chance even once, so to experience these different cars and championships has been amazing. I’m just over the moon to be driving again, and I cannot wait for Sebring next week.”
Porter also believes the step into Lamborghini Super Trofeo will be an important learning experience, given the strength of the grid.
“It’s definitely going to be different lining up on the grid because the level of competition is so high,” he said. “But that’s exactly why I’m excited about it. It’s a huge challenge and a great opportunity to keep learning.”
