Becky Lynch has risen to become one of the most prominent names in WWE history. Alongside professional success, she found love in the company as well with former six-time World Champion Seth Rollins. The duo made their relationship public in 2019 after a period of keeping it under wraps. However, during their time as a couple, The Man touched base on a difficult chapter.
In a recent interview with Going Deeper alongside her now-husband Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch revealed that the couple almost broke up before they tied the knot. When they started a relationship, Rollins clarified that he was not looking for anything serious. This led them to grow apart as Lynch wanted to be all in. She said, “Either I go in full armor and I don’t feel anything, or I don’t go in full armor and I’m just looking to get pummeled… either way, it’s not a good outcome for me. I was like, ‘This doesn’t work for me. I don’t want to be half in. What are we doing if we’re not doing this properly? We can just be friends.’”

During their time apart, Lynch saw a lot of fans wearing Rollins merchandise during signings, which drew her back to The Visionary. When Lynch told him that she wanted to try again, Rollins was ready to invest himself completely in their relationship. He said, “When she came back and told me that she was like, ‘No, I think I want to do this,’ I was like, yeah… that was it. I started ring shopping within two months. I told my friends, ‘Oh yeah, we’re probably going to get married. You can bank on that.’”
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch got married in 2020 and have a daughter named Roux. The couple has also worked alongside each other on WWE television, first in 2019 and then in 2025, when Rollins was leading the charge of The Vision. While Rollins is currently out of action due to a shoulder injury, Lynch is the reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Moreover, Rollins recently revealed that he would not be cleared to return to compete in the upcoming Men’s Royal Rumble match, while The Man is expected to battle in the Women’s Rumble.
