Carlos Alcaraz is looking to defend his title from last year after he won the Masters tournament for the first time.
His biggest rival, Jannik Sinner, meanwhile, has the chance to become the world number one again if he wins the tournament.

Alcaraz, meanwhile, will only truly be wary of Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, and potentially Alexander Bublik.
The Spaniard could face a first-time ever tie with Stan Wawrinka in round two, if the veteran gets past Sebastian Baez in round one.
Alcaraz will not have to face a top 10 player until the semi-finals, while Sinner could play Auger-Aliassime in the last eight.

As well as being given a difficult draw, Sinner could also have a tricky wild card opponent in his first Monte-Carlo match.
