Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the 2026 Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, the tournament announced on Instagram Stories on Friday.
The former No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings and two-time Monte-Carlo champion Djokovic, who withdrew from the Miami Open presented by Itauearlier this month due to a right shoulder injury, is next scheduled to compete at another clay ATP Masters 1000 event, the Mutua Madrid Open. The main-draw action in the Spanish capital takes place from 22 April to 3 May.
Djokovic is 7-2 for the season, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. The 38-year-old began his year by reaching his record-extending 11th Australian Open final, where he fell to his Lexus ATP Head2Head rival Carlos Alcaraz.
World No. 1 Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev will headline the field at the 2026 edition of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters. Main-draw play at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, where Alcaraz is the defending champion, will run from 5-12 April.
